Today was beautiful, even tho' it was partially sunny (mostly cloudy). I saw white lilacs, dogwood, crabapple, and Kwan-yoon (chinese) cherry trees in bloom! Spring is the most wonderful season here in Maryland. (happy sighes) Sadly, no camera along to take photos.
I spent most of yesterday in bed. This Chronic Fatigue stuff is a drag! :P I'm a pretty high energy person, normally, but I'm running close to 'empty' lately. Over doing things, I guess. (sigh) I'm back to having to spend one day a week in bed. :P
Today I had two different sets of private students -- Ruth who is learning hand piecing (from scratch) and two ladies, Kathleen and Deb, who wanted to learn rotary cutting. Three and a half hours of teaching do tend to tired me out -- teaching is an exhausting activity, if done correctly. :)
Tomorrow I am planning to take Hugh to his gaming session in Glen Burnie and then I am supposed to go to an organizing meeting for a new Howard County based fiber arts group. I'm looking forward to meeting the other folks who are coming (well, the ones I don't already know:). We were asked to bring two pieces of our own work -- one that shows 'where we've been' and the other to show 'where we're going.' Sadly, I have no idea where I'm going (grin). I think I want to focus on surface design and collage with fabric (I'm getting decently adept at making collages on paper). I'm taking my crazy quilt block, too -- that's definitely some of each (past and future). :)
