The work space I am occupying at the moment covers the surface on a short conference type table in the small classroom at my store. As you can see, it is filled with _stuff_. :)
I'm in the middle of making six fabric postcards for a swap (theme is 'Buried Treasure':). I'm combining some embroidered and embellished silk under layers with my Nuno felted luscious soft wool upper layers and beads. Once the hand work is done, I'll machine sew a couched-yarn-and-stitching edge around each one. :)
There is also an applique block from our Christmas theme b.o.m. waiting for me to finish embroidering the verse 'title' onto it. :) I've already done beading and embroidery on the block.
Oh, also those two small Adirondack style chairs are waiting for a nice coat of paint so they can become window dressing for summer fun. :)
There is never any end of things to do with my hands - thank you, God!!
:) Linda
