I think of this statue as Watching Guy. He sits on the top corner of a four story historic brick building on Main Street in Lancaster, OH and I have seen him 18 times now ... and every time I do, I smile. Don't know why he tickles my fancy so - might be because he seems to irreverent in such an antique setting? :)
My trip to take my brother Jeff to the doctor's office on Friday has turned into a saga. The doctor insisted on putting him in the hospital and I have now been back and forth to that destination daily ... maybe nine trips so far?
Jeff had surgery on his lungs on Monday ... I won't bore you with TMI but he is pretty sick. Also four hours a day of driving is not conducive to getting anything else done so no sewing, knitting, etc., has gotten done this week. Sniff.
He's getting better by small increments each day ... how it will all end up is pretty much anyone's guess at this point. Keep up in your good thoughts.
The hospital is a nice place. Here are some photos:
A lady was sitting in the lobby playing an autoharp ... very pretty music. Also soothing.
There is a big fish tank in another part of the lobby. This algae eater was about 8" long, maybe.
More traveling tomorrow ... and more news.
