... from the past!! A friend (thanks, Barbara!:) sent me a copy of an advertisement she found in a 1988 issue of Quilters Newsletter Magazine. Why? It's an ad for Seminole Sampler. :)
Now, this was long before I bought the shop from Kaye, back when it was in Savage Mill (Savage, MD) and _only_ sold solid colored 100% cotton fabrics. Were you quilting back then? (I was:) Do you remember this?
Whether you do or you don't, try to put your mind into the times - NO internet ... :)
An awful lot of quilting history has occurred since that ad was placed, eh? :) Seminole is still here, and still trying to deliver the latest/greatest to our customers. :)
We got a beautiful stack of twenty or more bolts of beautiful mottled reads-as-solids prints from Kona Bay today in the shop ... and I, very stupidly, forgot our camera at home. (sigh) Photos tomorrow, I promise!
:) Linda
