Alice I. just finished a new sample for the shop that I really like. :) She used a preprinted panel of fishing folks and an easy-to-make pattern from this book, Rotary Cutting Revolution, called 'Old Italian Block.' What an easy way to create a 'window' effect!
Alice says she had to fussy cut a bit of a second panel to keep the horizon line even - you wouldn't have to do that if you didn't want - but otherwise it was a snap to make! She put it up on our front wall display area - take a good look the next time you come in (and ask her for info if you need to:)!
I think this same idea would work wonderfully well for any large scale print - the book shows two samples of large quilts made using an assortment of fat quarters as the 'scenery.'
