We got some lovely 'color wall' bolts of fabric from Moda today - first, some Marble Mate Dots:
We also got three bolts of rich, mottled colors in the Marble Mate Multi series:
We're rustling bolts around and building a bright, happy display for you to enjoy - we all need to remember that spring _will_ come again. :)

I am very fond of early 19th century medallion quilts, especially those with broderie perse involved. :) Are you? If so, be thrilled that we have _finally_ received the remainder of our order of Winterthur Museum John Hewson reproduction prints from Andover Fabrics:

I see from looking at this week's posts I've written that I totally neglected to tell you all about some of the fabric deliveries from this past week! :( My humble apologies!!

We got a few new bolts of fabric in our deliveries and several books. I think there are great ideas here:
When my children were small, the Berenstein Bears were favorite stories (especially for my son:). We have a great new set of layer cakes (10" squares) that feature prints from this new collection:

Isn't the sunshine outside today lovely? :) It's chilly but sunny - I think that is known as a mixed blessing. (grin)

Our staff worked pretty hard yesterday, putting the newest bolts of fabric we received onto the shelves - thirty plus bolts of 'color wall' reads-as-solids came in that we did not photograph. They range from soft brights (a.k.a. pastels:) to intense color wheel hues.
We also got a selction of to-scale reproduction prints by Andover Fabrics from the Winterthur Collection, originally designed by John Hewson in the early 1800's. These are similar to the sort of carefully-hoarded prints that our ancestresses used to do Broderie Perse. :)

We got a delightful assortment of blue and yellow prints from Moda - the yellow in these is a soft, pleasing color and the blues are quite spring-like. :)
We also got in several bolts of what I think of as 'landscape' prints - fabric prints for doing semi-realistic outdoor designs:
