My 'little gray cells' feel like they've been tossed into a blender!! I am in Kansas City, Missouri attending Spring Quilt Market as I write.
I have been in classes all day (15 of them in all!) hearing about new books, rulers, patterns, fabrics and ideas for enriching our shop's environment for the joy and pleasure of all of you! The classroom photo shows one of the many sessions I attended today (the pic happens to be a session on teaching color) - just to give an idea of the crowd in each room. :)
The other photo shows a few of the 20 new applique patterns by Reiko Kato that feature Japanese houses. Don't know why I'm so focused on house images right now?! I saw wonderful modern patchwork by Julie Herman ... A great new Creative Grids rotary ruler designed by Karen Montgomery and another one that takes making a log cabin quilt from chaos to perfection. On and on and on!!
Every once in a while a coherent half thought bubbles to the top of my brain - I sure hope I can retain these great ideas long enough to share them with you! Right now I am waiting for the shuttle back to my hotel (Q Hotel & Spa - very nice:). More news tomorrow, assuming I am not completely blithering!
:) Linda
