Wide, Wide World
Hey, we got new fabrics in on Friday and today that I just photographed for you to see. Talk about trolling the entire world for designs! :)
From the spanish/native cultures of the Americas, a great chili design (did you know that scientists think that chillis are the first plant that human beings domesticated, before the grains even?:):

Are you a football fan? Or maybe someone you love is? We just got four new football theme prints that I think are smashing! pun intended (grin)
Now, to continue our world travels, an African inspired print with masks:

An Asian butterfly print (this came on Friday and the bolt is already half gone!):
In the wildlife department, there are American woodland creatures:

The first bolt of several on a polar region theme came in:

Birds of the Tropical Americas (I _think_ -- my knowledge about birds is a bit thin:):

A really nice mosaic-like batik in green that reminds me of sea turtle shells:

A giraffe print (picked by Robbyn, of all people!:) that makes me giggle -- won't see this beast walking the savannah; maybe the discos in Nairobi?
Three stripes that I'm going to call International -- could blend with many regional designs, in my humble:):
Finally, the last bolt of a baroque-era European collection called Rococco that I just love (even if I am unsure about the spelling):
The weather is glorious this week. Treat yourself to a trip in to see all these textile goodies! :)
