I've been neglecting my journaling lately. ;) I had another sleep study done ... saw the nutritionist for the second time (she wanted me to keep ttrack of my salt intake over a five week period and keep my consuption down to between 2 and 3 thousand miligrams a day -- my highest day was 2300 mg:) ... the store held Quilters Quest (with twelve other shops) from which I got a few ego strokes (the public apparently really liked my Quest quilt design:) ... had some kind of stomach ailment for two days ... :P
Art wise, I went down to the Queen's Ink yesterday and signed up for two classes (beginning and intermediate level) on soldering. I have been fascinated for some time with using glass slides to make small jewelry items, but have never learned to solder properly. Been exposed to the process several times by my husband (who solders computer stuff) and my father in law (who soldered silver jewelry and such) ... but it never really made any sense to me. (shrug) So, now I'm set up to learn.
Of course, one cannot just visit a shop without spending alittle money. :) Was in QI yesterday spending and stopped in at The Rubber Chicken in Gaithersburg today after the Quest Committee meeting, too. :)
Oh, I was the designated drawer of winning passports for the Quest ... I guess you can blame me if you did not win? (ducking)
:) Linda
